Social Media Giveaways

Social media giveaways are run on Pet.co.nz Facebook or Instagram page, the competition start date, competition end date, prize, brand partnership and number of winners will be listed on the giveaway post.  Entrants can only enter this giveaway on the Pet.co.nz Facebook or Instagram page. This competition is no way associated with Facebook or Instagram. The winner will be announced in the comments section of this post the following day of the competition ending. The winner must make contact with our page to claim the prize. Pet.co.nz takes no responsibility for misuse of products or safety of pets. All winners are encouraged to do their own research on products and ensure that it is safe for their pets. NZ residents only. 

1. Eligibility

The pet.co.nz Facebook Competition is open to New Zealand residents aged 18 years and over. Employees of Petstock, their families, and any associated organizations are excluded from entry.

2. Acceptance of Terms

Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. Any entry not in compliance with these terms is invalid.

3. How to Enter

To enter, participants must:

• Follow Petstock New Zealand on Facebook
• Like the competition post.
• Tell us what you would buy your pet with a $100 Petstock gift card in the comments!

4. There is no limit to the number of entries; participants may enter as many times as they wish.

5. Promotion Period

The competition begins at 2:00pm NZDT on Thursday 20th February, 2025, and closes at 11:59 PM NZDT on Thursday 27th of February, 2025.

• Three winners will be chosen from Facebook
• Each winner will receive a $100 Petstock Voucher
• Winners will be selected by Petstock's social media team based on compliance with entry conditions. Petstock's decision is final.
• Entrants are not guaranteed a prize.

6. Winner Notification

Winners will be contacted privately via direct message on the platform through Facebook They will be publicly announced in the comment section of the post and on the http://pet.co.nz and http://petstock.co.nz website. If a winner does not claim their prize by 5:00 PM NZDT on Friday 28th of February 2025 , Petstock reserves the right to redraw the prize for that category.

7. Winner Verification

The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and to request proof of a participant's eligibility (including a Participant's identity, age, and place of residence). The Promoter may, at its sole discretion, declare any or all entries made by an entrant invalid, and prohibit further participation by an entrant in this Promotion, if the entrant: a) fails to verify eligibility to enter the Promotion to the Promoter's satisfaction; b) tampers with or benefits from any tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion; c) submits an entry which in the Promoter's opinion is not in accordance with these terms and conditions; d) acts in a disruptive manner or with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person; or e) engages in conduct in entering the Promotion which in the Promoter's opinion is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Promotion and/or Promoter. This includes where entrants share receipts or product labels to enter the Promotion or where entrants use multiple names or addresses to register multiple entries. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

8. Entry Submission Responsibility

Petstock accepts no responsibility for any incomplete, incorrectly submitted, late, corrupt, or misdirected entries, claims, or correspondence. This includes but is not limited to technical, communication, and network malfunctions or any other errors such as omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure, or otherwise. Any entries that fail to reach the Promoter by the closing date will be deemed invalid.

9. Promoter Information

The Promoter of this competition is Petstock Pty Ltd (ABN 80 098 394 588), 121 Lydiard Street North, Ballarat Central, VIC, 3350, and Elanco Australasia Pty Ltd (ABN 64 076 745 198), Level 3, 7 Eden Park Drive, Macquarie Park, NSW 2113.

10. Tampering and Fraudulent Activity

The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, submits a fraudulent entry, fails to comply with these terms and conditions, or engages in disruptive, misleading, or damaging behaviour. This includes, but is not limited to, multiple entries from the same individual using false details.

11. Promoter's Rights

The Promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the competition, including disqualifying any participant, if unforeseen circumstances arise beyond its control that compromise the integrity or fairness of the competition.

12. Limitation of Liability

The Promoter, its affiliates, and agencies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special, or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury, or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person's negligence) in connection with this competition or the use of prizes, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).

13. Prize Distribution

The Promoter and its agencies accept no responsibility for delays or damage to prizes in transit.

14. Privacy

By entering the competition, participants consent to the collection and use of their personal information by the Promoter(s) for the purpose of conducting this competition. Collected information may also be used for the purposes specified in the Promoter's privacy policy. The Promoter may disclose entrants' personal information to companies and agencies connected with this Promotion. For more details, please refer to Petstock's privacy policy. Petstock reserves the right to re-share any content shared during the competition as per Petstock Social Media Terms & Conditions.
